How do I begin affiliate marketing without experience?

Affiliate marketing can be one of the most profitable ways to make money online in 2021. But there is a right way to go about it and an absolutely wrong (scammy) way to go about it.

First step is to think about what it is that you want to promote? There are so many niches out there but I would suggest choosing a niche that fits inside these 3 core concepts:

Wealth

Health

Love

Those 3 larger sectors are the most profitable in my opinion. So you should look for products that can help people become wealthier, improve their health or make an impact on their love lives.

Within those 3 sectors you need to be niche.

So under wealth for example you could choose a program such as click funnels which helps entrepreneurs create sales funnels - The funnel is a way to increase their wealth potential. You are targeting entrepreneurs or perhaps people using a different platform such as Shopify but not achieving their full potential.

You could choose to promote weight loss products as they have a benefit on someone health.

The list is endless but before you go any further … figure out what you want to promote. I would suggest that it is something that you are interested in and fits in with the above framework.

There are a number of affiliate networks you could check out like clickbank, JVZoo or Warrior Plus depending on what you were wanting to promote.

The most successful affiliates in all niches promote an affiliate offer as if it was their own product that they were launching. They promote it hard, create unique and helpful value for potential clients first.

Simply pasting an affiliate link around the internet will get you banned from many sites and make you $0, not to mention you will probably anger a few people in the process

Create a video review or a blog post and drive traffic into those. Add a huge amount of value to what you are offering that clients WANT to buy from you.

I have people contact me about products that I don’t even promote to ask if I have a link because they are loyal to me and my brand. This doesn’t happen overnight and takes a lot of work but the results are possible.

Treat an affiliate business like any other and put in the hours, if you do the rewards will pay off in the long run. No free lunches and no push button results unfortunately … Hard work, consistency and dedication is what it takes to make it in this business.
